A couple of reminders and upcoming dates to be aware of. Paragon fundraiser delivery date will be Friday, October 4 with money being due on Wednesday, October 16. School will not be in session on October 11 (teacher workshop) and October 14 (Columbus Day). Tuesday, October 15 is the final day for physicals, vision exams, and shot records to be turned in. Your student will be excluded from attending until all the documents are received. Please call the office and not the teacher if your student is out sick. Finally, if your student is going to be gone for an extended period of time, please fill out an absence request form in our office. Thank you and have a great weekend.
We have an early dismissal for a teacher in-service day on Friday, September 27. Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:10 a.m., and 1st and 2nd grade will dismiss at 11:15 a.m.

Family Reading Night: Fall Into a Good Book
There will be a Book Fair, Free Dinner, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Crafts, Book Swap, and much more! All food and activities will be free!
September 11th is a day when we remember and honor those who showed great bravery and kindness during a very difficult time in our country's history. We remember the heroes—firefighters, police officers, and everyday people—who helped others when they needed it most.
Mrs. Carlton's students made an art display to honor those heroes.
There will be no school on Monday, September 02, due to Labor Day. We will start the regular schedule on Tuesday, September 03, with kindergarten dismissal at 2:30 and first and second-grade dismissal at 2:35.

Aug 14 "Meet the Teacher Day" is now scheduled from 8:30-11:30 (Bring classroom supplies this day).

1st and 2nd grade: School starts on Wednesday, August 14, with an early 2:00 p.m. dismissal until Labor Day. Students will need to be picked up at 1:35 p.m. for early dismissal.
Open House is Monday, August 12, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Students can bring their school supplies and meet their teacher. We can't wait to see everyone back at school! We are wild about West Side!
