Congratulations to Alissa and Sean for reading over a million words in Literature during the 1st semester. Alissa read 1.1 million, and Sean read 1.4 million. They also passed all of their AR tests. Way to go!
The HMS Talent Show is tomorrow, December 20 at 8:45 am in the HMS commons area. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Students may be signed out after the talent show by a parent or guardian or by one of their emergency contacts in PowerSchool. They may not be signed out by any other person. Please contact the HMS office if you have questions.

BULLDOG CLUB ACTIVITIES: Only eligible students will attend these activities (6th grade on 12-18, 7th/8th grade on 12/19).
HOUSE COMPETITION: Students should wear House t-shirts tomorrow (12/18) for our House Competition in the afternoon. All 6th grade students and any other student who purchased a new House t-shirt will receive that shirt tomorrow before the House Competition.

This Week at HMS 12-11-23. Please note that afternoon tutoring is canceled for Monday, 12-11-23. The last day for tutoring at HMS will be Thursday, December 14.
HMS Band T-shirt Fundraiser. Orders and payments are due no later than Friday, December 8.
HMS basketball and cheerleading picture order forms are going home today. The forms are personalized and have a code that you need to order the pictures. Check with your child after school to get the form and code.
The girls basketball game scheduled for tomorrow night at Vienna has been cancelled. If possible, that game will be rescheduled.
Pick up for the HMS Texas Roadhouse Roll Fundraiser will be Wednesday, December 6, from 2:30 - 4:30 pm at HMS. Parents or guardians of students who sold rolls may pick them up at Door 12. You may park in the parking lot in front of the building. Please do not park in the pick up or bus lanes. Rolls must be frozen until students deliver them.

Picture retakes are tomorrow morning (Friday, November 3). Any student who did not like their first picture can have another one taken. Also, any student who did not get their picture taken earlier this year should plan on getting their picture taken tomorrow. The school dress code applies.
