Due to safety concerns, please do not pass the line of traffic waiting to turn into BELA Pre-K off of Bulldog Blvd. The Pre-K parent pickup line is always clear before 2:40pm. HMS dismisses at 2:50pm. If you need to get to HMS early, we advise using the Liberty Road Entrance. Thank you for you for your cooperation and patience.

Talk to your kids about the risks of underage drinking and set clear no-use rules now. Hurry before they slip up, and possibly hurt themselves or someone else. For more info, visit: theelephantisintheroom.com

HMS Cross Country team has a parents' meeting on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 5pm - Soccer field pavilion.

HMS Parents/Guardians, please help us make dismissal time work better for everyone by not blocking the bus lane. There are two car lanes at the front of the parking lot and we ask that you move to the second lane when it is open to help keep bus traffic moving. If both car lanes are full, please do not turn in to either lane until there is room for you to do so without blocking the bus lane. You may also use the third lane at the back of the parking lot. Also, keep in mind that buses have the right of way when leaving the parking lot. All vehicles should yield this right of way to help keep our bus traffic flowing. Finally, for the safety of our students, they are required to use the crosswalk and we do recommend that you use the car lanes to pick them up rather than parking on the road. Please be patient. This is a new process for many parents/guardians. While it takes some time to pick up your student in the afternoon, it will get much better when we begin regular schedule after Labor Day as our students are dismissed at 2:50 p.m. and most of the buses do not arrive until 3:00 p.m. or later. A document handed out at registration is linked for your information.

HMS Baseball and Softball pictures are after school on Monday, August 19. Individual pictures will be taken at HMS in the Media Center at 2:00. Team members will need transportation to the fields afterward for the team pictures. See the attached image for more information.

HMS Registration: Students who have registered online and paid their fees online do not need to come to in person registration. All students will receive their schedules and Chromebooks on the first day of school.
