Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Even as kids grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students access learning opportunities and understand why attendance is so important for success in school. Families can use these strategies to help kids build a habit of good attendance. NAESP

West Side would like to send a huge thanks out to Coach Griffith and the senior football players for getting our students off to a great start this morning. The kids loved getting to high-five the players on their way to class! Come out and support the HHS football team as they open their season taking on Anna-Jonesboro tonight at 8:00 at Taylor Field

Parents/Guardians of Pick-up Students,
Please have your pick-up tags (with students names) visible for staff that are calling names and staff that are loading students. The more visible these tags are, the quicker and safer we can complete dismissal.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Parents/Guardians: Be sure to include the card provided by the school in your window or on your dash when picking up your child. If you didn't see a card last night, please check your child's folder again this weekend. Thank you for your cooperation.

First-grade students are picked up at 1:35 on Lincoln St.
