HMS Picture Retakes and Group Pictures tomorrow, October 28. Any student who didn't have a picture made in September or wants a retake will have a picture taken. If your child wants a retake, he/she needs to bring the picture packet. Remote students may have pictures or retakes between 8:15 - 9:00 a.m. at HMS and should enter through the office entrance. The school dress code applies. Remote students in band or student council may come for the group picture and should be at the school by 9:00 a.m. Masks will be worn for all group pictures.
Reminder that tomorrow, October 22, is the last day to sign up for cheerleading tryouts at the middle school. Any student, remote or in person, may tryout but must have a current physical and a COVID Waiver form on file prior to tryouts on November 2. Temperature and symptoms will be checked prior to open gym on October 27 and 28 and before tryouts on November 2. You may sign up to tryout if you are currently at home on quarantine as long as you will be released to come back to school before November 2. Sign up in the middle school office.
Tutoring for remote and in person students will be on Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 22 from 1:00 - 3:00. Please contact the office to let us know if your child will be attending tutoring this week.
Reminders for all HMS students: Bring your math books and district hot spots if you haven't already turned them in. Hot spots should be turned in at the office. In person students can turn math books in to their math teachers. Remote learners can turn them in at the office from 8:00 - 3:30. For students returning from remote learning, you will receive your class schedules in the morning. Also student pick up time for those being picked up is 11:40 a.m. All other students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Don't forget your mask and your Chromebook!

This is a reminder to all REMOTE LEARNERS that you MUST notify your child's school by OCTOBER 1ST (NO EXCEPTIONS) if you plan on coming back to school for in-person learning for 2nd quarter that starts on October 19th.
Also, those of you that have students that are currently IN-PERSON learners....please notify your child's school office by OCTOBER 1 (NO EXCEPTIONS) IF you are wanting to become a REMOTE LEARNER for 2nd quarter which starts on October 19th.

School pictures for REMOTE LEARNERS are here. They can be picked up at HMS in front under the awning on Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29 from 8:30 - 11:30. In Person learners should have received their pictures earlier this week.
Starting tomorrow, September 24, all HMS students will be remote learning until Friday, October 2. Students who were already remote learning, will continue with their current remote learning schedule. Students who were in person should check their email today for more information about their schedule.
The baseball and softball games are cancelled for tonight. There will be no baseball, softball, or cross country practice. Practices will resume tomorrow.
The softball team will play Carrier Mills tomorrow night at 4:30 for 8th Grade Night. All athletes will be required to wear a mask when they are not playing during games and practice.
